The Sr. Financial Analyst (FP&A) helps to inform a wide array of business decisions using corporate finance concepts, techniques, and tools. The role entails the creation and management of both recurring and non-recurring projects. Under the direction of the FP&A manager, the Sr. Financial Analyst (FP&A) works closely with executives and managers to identify key decisions and their variables in order to build informative models and management reports. In conjunction with the VP of Finance, the FP&A Manager, and key stakeholders throughout the company, the Sr. Financial Analyst (FP&A) will manage the creation of financial forecasts and budgets. The role requires an analytical mind as well as strong communication skills, strong organizational skills, and confidence in the accuracy of the information provided.


  • Compile financial forecasts
  • Complete long-term cash projections
  • Manage the quarterly budgeting process using Adaptive Insights
  • Work with individual budget owners to help them meet their responsibilities and deadlines
  • Train budget owners on budgeting tools, requirements, and policies
  • Perform investment decision analysis
  • Construct financial models using Excel and Adaptive Insights
  • Prepare a wide variety of management reports
  • Interact with executive and management team members to provide recommendations based on data
  • Identify and implement improvements to reports, models, and the budgeting process
  • Manage other financial projects as assigned by the FP&A manager


  • Critical thinking skills and an inquisitive nature that results in asking questions, seeking to understand relationships, and finding answers
  • Strong knowledge of corporate finance concepts
  • Ability to produce high quality analysis, models, and reports with speed and accuracy
  • Experience in forecasting and budgeting
  • The ability to manage multiple projects while working with tight deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with large groups of stakeholders
  • Advanced Excel knowledge and experience in working with complex spreadsheets and detailed formulas
  • Experience building and managing models in Adaptive Insights is strongly preferred
  • Experience with financial concepts relating to the software industry is preferred
  • Experience with NetSuite, Salesforce, and ServiceNow is preferred


  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
  • 4 or more years' of experience in a finance role or a combination of experience and equivalent post-graduate education in business, accounting, or finance
