This position will be a split between a Professional Instructor and Curriculum Developer. This person will act as a qualified expert of MasterControl products, teaching in the Education Centre here in Basingstoke and on-site at client locations. This person will also participate in the development of education materials.

Essential functions of the position include:  1) Maintaining open channels of communication with Product Management, Configuration Services, Support and other areas required to assemble, implement, deliver and train on MasterControl Products. 2) Being the voice of the customer by submitting bugs/enhancement requests. This includes materials for existing supported versions of the software, as well as past and future versions as they are released.  3} Meeting classroom and virtual training needs and requirements for internal/external customers.

The person in this role will work in a fun, fast-paced, dynamic team environment and will be a member of MasterControl's best-in-class Education Services group. Position requires some travel.


  • Provide training at the Education Center or client on-site location as a Certified MasterControl Instructor.
  • Deliver engaging and informative training sessions by keeping updated on products and adult learning best-practices
  • Join the Curriculum Development team to create and update facilitator and participant guides, job aides,  e-learning courses and other materials to enhance training
  • Assist with the total Education Center's packaging of materials, e-materials, availability through the MasterControl Customer Website and Classroom Presentation materials
  • Act as a liaison for Education and Product Management enabling the transfer of knowledge to pass through to Project, Education, Configuration Services and Technical Support
  • Produce materials for the classroom, further develop the skills within the MasterControl's community of clients, and contribute to the current and future use of the Education Services
  • Enter and record the variety of bugs, enhancements and issues that flow from the class and clients as they provide output during classes
  • Represent the Education team both internally and externally!


  • Material expertise and a classroom presence which provides a consistent level of professionalism
  • Provide recommendations on how to efficiently to transfers knowledge and produce high user adoption
  • Willingness to learn and improve curriculum development skills
  • Demonstrate a positive "can do" attitude, show motivation, and be a goal-oriented self-starter
  • Be "solution-minded" rather than "problem-minded"
  • Understand technical concepts and maintain expertise in a changing environment
  • Foster excitement and enthusiasm in the classroom, in the content, and with colleagues


  • Prior experience with software training or MasterControl product expertise
  • Training material development and remote training delivery experience
  • Understanding of the Quality and Regulated Life Sciences industry desirable
  • Business/Science/Education degree preferred
