The DevOps Engineer creates and maintains tools to support and improve the build and release process. Facilitates continuous integration and delivery initiatives. Designs and implements a software delivery pipeline that minimizes manual involvement and leads to continuous improvements and accelerated delivery timelines. Creates and maintains tools that provide software quality and release metrics to teams and management. Evangelizes a DevOps culture. Has a passion for creating self-service tools and processes, which enables others to quickly deliver high quality software.



  • Create and maintain software delivery pipeline
  • Reduce manual software delivery involvement
  • Maintain department and self-service testing environments
  • Document processes, technologies, and workflows
  • Collaborate with teams from all parts of the software delivery process
  • Research new technologies
  • Train others on new technologies and processes
  • Other duties as assigned


  • Work experience includes design and coding with modern software development tools and languages such as: Java, .Net, SQL Server, Angular, Spring, Ruby, Webdriver, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, etc
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Chef, Travis CI
  • Experience with Cloud infrastructure technologies such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure
  • Experience with Containerization technology like Docker, Kubernetes
  • Ability to work in a team environment and adapt to constructive criticism
  • Ability to use object-oriented principles preferred



  • Career position within field
    • Bachelor's degree in a computer related discipline (Computer Science, Computer engineering, Information Systems, etc) or equivalent work experience
    • 3-5 years of practical Build Engineer, DevOps, Software Pipeline delivery experience
  • Conducts complex work important to the organization with little to no supervision
  • Experience with regulated software validation concepts is beneficial



  • Operate a computer and work at a desk for extended periods of time
  • Communicate effectively in writing, in person, over the telephone and in e-mail
