JOB SUMMARY:  The Regional Account Associate (RAA) is responsible for actively engaging prospects in the company's defined sales process. The RAA is expected to have excellent selling, closing and qualification skills. The RAA will work within a specific sales territory and collaborate with a Customer Success Representative (CSR) to maintain a sales relationship with customers and prospects. Lead Generation is required and must be conducted within the appropriate territory. This includes but is not limited to cold calling, marketing campaigns, attending trade shows, and following up on trade show and industry association opportunities. Regional Account Associates must be able to accurately forecast revenue using a defined Staging Process.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Actively sell to all Tier 7 (Less than 50 Employees) MasterControl Prospects 
  • Lead Generation, including Cold Calling, MasterControl Campaigns, Trade Show Leads, MasterControl Associate Leads, Industry Association Leads, etc. 
  • Follow up on pre-qualified Tier 7 Leads provided by Sales Development Representatives
  • Participate in Trade Shows
  • Provide product demonstrations

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Preference will be given to individuals with experience selling software to health science industries
  • Ability to communicate effectively in writing, in person, over the telephone and in e-mail
  • Ability to quickly learn technical skills
  • Ability to build strong sales relationships
  • Strong understanding of Life Sciences, Medical Device and Manufacturing industries
  • Customer Service experience and training
  • Experience with Salesforce preferred
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing regulations preferred
  • 5-10 years in enterprise software sales experience preferred

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • BA/BS preferred
  • Proven track record of successful multi-level, complex software sales
  • Accurate forecasting of revenue based opportunities
  • Extensive prospecting experience
  • Strong leadership and presentation skills
  • Strong understanding of MS Office application

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Ability to work non-standard hours
  • Extensive travel required (40%)
  • Ability to operate a computer and work at a desk for extended periods of time
  • Bending, stooping and lifting are an integral part of this position
